A word from Pastor Stephen May from the Rancho Tehama Community Church.
Let me first say the prayers of Rancho Tehama Community Church are with the injured from this morning’s tragic shooting and also with the loved ones left behind of those who died. It’s hard to know what to say when tragedy hits a small community like Rancho Tehama Reserve. I have so many positive things to say about Rancho Tehama, especially mentioning, Rancho Tehama Community Church which is God-centered, where there is love for God and people. It’s a church that will be giving out nearly a 100 meals this coming week and preparing for a Christmas party in which gifts are given out to the children on the Ranch. Please know that if anyone on the ranch needs to, or wants to talk, then please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (530)585-3337
I wish I could say I was surprised about the shooting this morning, but I’m not. The Bible says these things will happen, (Matthew 24:6-8, 2 Timothy 3:2-5). If this shooting and the shooting in Texas show us anything, it is that there is no safe place on the earth and that your life could end in a split second. The emphasis, therefore, is to make sure you are saved eternally. God has set the number of days we have on this earth, and the time He gives us is preparation time to prepare to meet God.
